My Home is Sweet Home Alabama, before I moved to Austin, Texas. Once I moved I realized the shops from my hometown are charming and have the southern beauty that makes a home inviting and timeless.
The best part is my best friend, Lauren who lives in Alabama and we have the same taste. Her home on the lake is blissful and serene. One of her expertise are shoes and fashion. We have the best time together and we can complete each other’s sentences.
In the pictures below the beauty of the cheerful pink, classic blue and the sky blues limelight hydrangeas are a garden of beauty.
The classic blue hydrangeas are special to me because Daddy grew the most beautiful hydrangeas. He could grow any flower. Many times he would win yard of the year for Spring time. I could tell that he was tickled pink about winning this neighborhood award. A sign was placed in our front yard. He worked diligently and gave abundant attention to his variety of flowers. Daddy’s favorite flower was the blue hydrangea, like me. Mama loved the pink tea roses.
The picture of the metal frog caught my eye for a whimsical touch for your flower garden. The colors of the frog are a peaceful green and white. The frog arranged in a flower bed would be delightful scenery with any types of flowers you choose.
Window shopping is relaxing and inspirational. A helpful tip is to take pictures of displays or vignettes that have you to pause and think “I can design a similar look with my own creativity.”
