Friends and Family will be welcomed with Warmth when they sit down to have a Holiday meal that has been thoughtfully decorated to complement the delicious food. Gathering Around the Table is a special time to feel the sense of Togetherness, to Share Stories, to Laugh, to Slow Down, and a Time to make Lasting Memories.

My Dining Christmas Tablescape is elegant with the feeling of Walking Through A Winter Wonderland. My Kitchen Christmas Tablescape are traditional colors: Shiny Golds, Emerald Greens, and Ruby Reds. My kids gave me the Darling assorted dessert plates with a Nutcracker, Candy Canes, Christmas Wreath, and a Christmas Tree last Christmas. Our Outdoor Christmas Dining Table is an elevated casual setting. The cheerful wreath rattan placemats are the Highlight of my Festive table. The center of my table I used low profile greenery, sprigs of bright red holly berries, and the glow from the candles give the Feeling of Peacefullness.

Besides Trimming our Family Christmas Tree, one of my Favorite Expressions of Hospitality is creating an Inviting Tablescape. This is a time to be creative. Turn on Christmas Carols. Don’t be afraid to mix different colors, textures and patterns. Use Sentimental dinnerware, Santa Clauses, centerpieces, anything that reminds you the Magic of Christmas.

This quote is what I reflect on. “Christmas is not a Season, it’s a Feeling.”- Edna Ferber
