Good Morning, a dear friend shared this Lauren Daigle song with me; Thank God, I Do. This is the chorus :

You’re My Safe Place

My Hideaway

You’re my Anchor

My Saving Grace

You’re my Constant

My Steadiness

You’re My Shelter

My Oxygen

In life we are told in scripture that we will have trials. This is a time where we Surrender all to God, be Steadfast in the word of God, and Prayer. The verse Psalm 46: 10 gives peace when you write this verse on your heart. “ Be still and know that I’m God.”

So often I will lay my troubles at the foot of the Cross and before I realize, I’ve taken all of that burden back , and to strive to fix.

My Mama was the most patient and faithful lady I’ve ever known. Often growing up I was not. She would say “Dawn you have to learn to wait.” Oh how difficult this is, when we think we know the timeline and the answers.

Most of the time my difficult trials have been answered in a way I could never imagine. This is when you have to walk in Faith and have true Surrender

We all desire Peace. I’m learning Peace doesn’t mean all our trials are fixed, instead we choose to wait, and be still and know that it is in God’s timing. We choose to look to the horizon and see all the blessings we have and blessings to come.

This beautiful descriptive song is encouraging and uplifting. It’s a reminder of who our Heavenly Father is. The pictures below my husband, Andy took of the sunrise in Waco, the weekend of our daughter, Hannah’s wedding, and our recent trip to Carmel.

Sunrises are my favorite because it’s a new day dawning, and new Mercies
