This is one of my favorite Christmas pictures of the kids. Each time I look at it I think of the wonderful Christmas song, Joy to the World. My son Jackson looks like he is singing “Joy.”
Joy means a deep relationship of Gladness and Cheerfulness that comes from the Joy in our hearts from Jesus. The Christmas hymn, Joy to the World was first a poem written by Issac Watts. He was inspired by the Bible verse Psalm 98:4. The verse says: Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord, all the earth make a loud noise, and rejoice and Sing Praise. Then these beautiful words were put to music and became one of the most famous Christmas carols.
Joy to the World theme is the Gift of Jesus. Today this hymn still sparks Joy, Peace, and Hope.
